ALICE by Temperley S/S13 Preview

New shots of the ALICE by Temperley Spring/Summer 2013 collection have just been released by the label, much to the delight of bargain-hunting fashion-lovers everywhere.

Inspired by the iconic vision of the ballerina, the line takes its thematic influences from the prints and patterns of the Ballet Russes. The result is a distinctly feminine one, with embellished sequinned dresses, flared voluminous skirts and a wealth of romantic lace detail. Though the collection may stem from a traditional concept, the designs have a refreshing contemporary edge, as seen in the vibrant statement prints and dropped crotch tapered trousers.

As Temperley London’s diffusion line, the ALICE by Temperley collection promises a wealth of affordable “flirty-cool” everyday designs to wear in Spring/Summer, while still taking fashion-forward cues from its high-end sister brand.
