British high-street womenswear brand Karen Millen have just launched their latest campaign called Women Who Can. In partnership with The Step Up Club, this campaign has been created to raise female empowerment by championing inspiring females and enabling women to be at their best.
The Step Up Club
The campaign is in association with The Step Up Club, this is a new initiative started by Alice Olins and Phanella Mayall Fine. The club was started to create a voice for women within their careers. They are committed to creating a platform that boosts female empowerment, provides invaluable information and tips in regards to career development and offers women the opportunity to join a network of like-minded females.
Alongside their website and social media platforms they also have a physical presence with their Step Up School which is a one year programme that offers monthly meet ups and an online support network that is created to nurture and progress everyone who takes part. As well as the Step Up School the club also holds general events throughout the year open to everyone, including inspirational talks, networking evenings and workshops that are set up all help to further women within their careers.
The Women Who Can campaign is focused around the beliefs of both Karen Millen and The Step Up Club. The sole purpose of the campaign is to create a message of empowerment to the modern day woman.
The campaign will run both online and in-store, where the campaign theme will run through the brands social media posts, editorial content and website, alongside a more physical reaction to the campaign within store, holding in-store events for customers that will all relate back to the overriding theme of empowerment and female unity.
During the campaign Karen Millen will release interviews from impactful women within various industries, with a focus on topics such as; unleashing confidence, growing resilience and defining success.
Intertwining Karen Millen’s style and ethos along with The Step Up Club’s mantra and focus this collaborative campaign is set to take off online and in-store, providing women across the United Kingdom with a fresh sense of power and strength, showing that no matter who you are and what you do that you are a Woman Who Can.
