Devoted to eliminating the cons of travel, concept luggage brand Away have opened a pop-up concept store in Manhattan, New York City.
New to the market, Away launched online earlier this year. The immediate success of their non-nonsense approach to carry-on cases has led to them opening their doors on Lafayette St, NoHo.
As well as their signature suitcase, the store also stocks a range of products that fit with the brand ethos including stationary, photography books and more. Among these are collaborative projects including a made-to-order bike in partnership with Tokyobike and a box of all-natural travel-essential beauty products from Cap Beauty.
Inspired by concept stores including Collete in Paris, the new store will be open from 11am-8pm Mon-Fri and 10am-8pm Sat & Sun until August 31st. Away will also be hosting a series of events & talks to inspire people to travel and think about cultural exploration. “All of our relationships with our customers, up until now, have been online so we really get to know who our actual customers are — how they travel and what’s important to them.” Explains co-founder Steph Korey.
