It has been revealed that British model Alexa Chung will be teaming up with high street store Marks & Spencer on a new collaboration collection. Set to hit stores in April 2016, the range will be formed of 31 pieces, which Alexa and the M&S design team have selected from the brand’s archive in Leeds. The new styles will update classic looks with ‘a heritage sensibility,’ complemented by contemporary fabrications and a fresh colour palette.
The Alexa Chung for Marks & Spencer collection marks the first in a new series of collaborations called ‘M&S &,’ which will see the company team up with a yet-to-be-announced range of designers, brands and icons. Model-of-the-moment Alexa Chung has been praised as an ideal first choice, having given Marks & Spencer a surge of popularity last year after stepping out in one of the brand’s 70’s-look suede skirts. She has also had great success in her previous collaborations, such as the recent range with AG Jeans.
