British fashion house Alexander McQueen has announced it will be relocating for Fall/Winter 2016-17, returning to its hometown of London for one season only. The brand has generally presented its catwalk shows in Paris since 2001, when late designer Lee McQueen decided to make the transition from the London Fashion Week schedule.
A spokesperson has confirmed that the label aim to do ‘something different for the season,’ although further details have yet to be revealed. Alexander McQueen’s homecoming will also coincide with the brand’s 23rd anniversary.
The Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2016-17 catwalk show is scheduled for Sunday February 21 2016, during London Fashion Week.
