My Little Pony is having something of a moment in fashion right now. Last week saw the iconic toy take to the catwalk as a key motif of Katie Eary’s Spring/Summer 2016 show, and now a group of high-end designers have created their own four-legged fashion looks. Each custom plushie channels signature details from the brand it represents, from Versace’s bold print mix design (inspired by the F/W15 collection) to Marni’s pretty 3D florals. Other highlights include Rick Owens’ all-black pony and Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain makeover, which includes a miniature leather harness and mesh palazzo pants.
The toy ponies are being auctioned by Italian e-store LuisaViaRoma in an effort to raise funds for Save the Children and Nepal Earthquake victims, in conjunction with the brand’s own charity Make Kids Happy.
