Lady Gaga is set to launch a pet product line inspired by her French Bulldog named Miss Asia Kinney that will aim to “find creative and functional ways for pets and their owners to bond”. The multi-award winning music artist announced the news on Instagram to her 7.7 million followers posting pictures of her cute pooch debuting looks from the upcoming collection.
Pretending that Asia “took over” her Instagram, the French Bulldog revealed the plans and inspiration behind the fashionable puppy line by sharing snaps of herself dressing up, reading Vogue and ‘sketching’ designs. Asia also teased that she would be “the star of a new campaign for a major luxury fashion brand” and that she could be gracing the pages of Italian Vogue.
Well known for her extravagant outfits as much as her hit records, no doubt the multi-talented Gaga will raise the fashion bar for man’s best friend as the creative visionary and artistic director of the four-legged friendly venture. The collection will feature chic pet clothing and accessories, toys and bowls as well as an organic, grain-free pet food line.
According to Gaga’s manager, Bobby Campbell, Gaga and her team have been working on the product line for the past 6-8 months, which “started very organically through the love of her dog.”
Campbell comments: “This is not just about crazy outfits for dogs. It’s about giving pet parents and pet owners a fun and creative way for protecting their pets, as well as fun clothes to display on Instagram.”
The brand name and launch date have yet to be revealed. Follow @MissAsiaKinney for updates on the fashionable puppy line.
