Sportswear giants Puma and New York-based streetwear brand Alife have teamed up once again on a second collaborative collection. This time around, the Lower East Side concept store aims to showcase local youth culture through the mediums of their fashion boutique and live music events. The new Spring/Summer 2015 designs are inspired by Alife’s own store interiors, referencing the mirrored walls, cork stools, fish tanks and signage, while the suede plimsolls come ‘dirtied up’ to resemble styles that have been worn on the New York streets.
To celebrate the launch of the range, Alife recently decamped to London for the hotly-anticipated, invite-only ‘Puma Presents Alife Sessions’ event. Partygoers got a sneak peek at the industrial-themed display of apparel and footwear, while listening to live music by Cult Mountain, Little Simz and headlining hip-hop duo Mobb Deep.
The latest drop is now available to buy online at the Alife etail store.
