Fusing the bold sport style aesthetic of Y-3 with the technical prowess of Adidas Tennis, the new Adidas Roland Garros Collection by Y-3 collection represents the first collaboration between two Adidas brands. Designed for the Roland Garros French Open, athletic styles are made to make an impact both on and off the court, creating elegance in motion.
The collection’s colourways are inspired by Y-3’s iconic look, combining designer Yohji Yamamoto’s signature monochrome with ultra-bright Hawaiian florals that reference Y-3’s S/S15 range. Standout pieces include tennis dresses, half-zip tees and leisure caps, along with CC Adizero Y3 Clay sneakers. Designs will debut at the Roland Garros next month, worn by leading tennis players Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Ana Ivanovic, along with the tournament’s ball boys and girls.
“Y-3 is pioneering the future of sport and fashion. The collaboration with adidas Tennis as seen in the Roland Garros collection adds a new dimension to the possibilities of the brand, bringing the spirit and energy of high-fashion to the courts,” says Adidas Global Creative Director Dirk Schönberger. “It’s an exciting opportunity to fuse the iconic style of Yohji Yamamoto – the master of fashion – with the modern language of sport.”
The Adidas Roland Garros Collection by Y-3 is available to buy globally now, available online and in-store at both Adidas and Y-3.
