Adidas Originals introduces another lookbook from their ongoing collaboration with style icon Rita Ora for the S/S 2015 season. Previously we’ve seen the pair make use of bold colors and graphics as seen in the last collaboration called “Super Pack”. This time around, they’ve chosen to tone it down by applying a more sophisticated look with a street-sexy attitude calling this new collection “O-Ray”.
Many of the pieces in the range feature a dynamic futuristic X-ray graphic and body temperature scan prints in bold sci-fi primaries set against a black background. Materials are key in this collection with sheer meshes mingling with performance fabrics and sleek patents. This range juxtaposes the Three Stripes’ sportswear silhouettes with a dark edgy aesthetic.
Classic silhouettes take on new gravity via dramatic photo prints and striking reconstruction. Highlights are the tank which features the O-ray torso photographic with a reflective Trefoil on the single jersey front and the matching shorts which are made in shiny tricot and include the signature hip and thigh O-ray body scan X-Rayed photo print.
The Adidas SML activewear runner silhouette is also a favourite with a distinctive foot bone thermal X-ray print running across the mesh upper and overlaid in synthetic patent leathers on top of a high performance EVA outsole. The collection is available in apparel, accessories and footwear with all pieces featuring the Adidas Originals Rita Ora flag label.
The collection will be available starting March 1st.
