Trendstop looks to the global campaign re-launching the Superstar. Adidas Originals celebrates this iconic silhouette with ‘The Superstar Experience’ in New York City this weekend, open at weekends for one month only on Wooster St, Soho. The exhibition is inspired by the history of the Superstar, which has its origins both in New York City’s basketball culture the street scene it is ever-present in. The space will serve as a stage, a gallery, a classroom and an incubator for creativity and self-expression. Sneaker lovers also have the rare opportunity to glimpse into the future viewing yet-to-be launched executions of the Superstar for 2015, together with upcoming collaborations. The new Pharrell Williams Consortium Superstar Collection is on show in the exhibition, and will definitely catch your eye with 30+ shades of ‘Superstar’ in varying shades of the same colour. The design will be available to buy in-store from March 2015.
