In this week’s Trendspiration, it’s the work of artist Elsa Mora that’s catching our eye. Elsa creates beautiful, intricately detailed paper sculptures out of acid-free paper and glue, which have gone on show at exhibitions as well as being commissioned by private clients. Cut-out paper shapes are layered and arranged to create 2D and 3D sculptures with a whimsical storybook feel, including scenes that see children riding giant birds in leafy forests and colourful animals dressed up in clothes. Other more conceptual creations explore physical abstractions, as hand silhouettes come detailed with minute human bodies.
We’ll be back soon with another fresh dose of Trendspiration – stay tuned!
