TRENDSPIRATION: Colour-Coded Photography

TRENDSPIRATION: Colour-Coded Photography

In this week’s Trendspiration, we’re looking at the evocative work of Texas-born photographer Emily Blincoe. Amongst client work for the likes of Mercedes, Converse and GAP, she creates light-hearted images depicting food and plants artfully arranged by colour, which have gained her a huge following on Instagram and Tumblr. Highlights include collections of eggs or tomatoes in every shade, along with a comprehensive focus on candy in her Sugar Series. Some of our favourite shots see Emily herself step into the frame, surrounded by delicate compositions of leaves or facing a rainbow spectrum of dropped ice cream cones.

We’ll be back soon with another fresh dose of Trendspiration – stay tuned!
