One of the biggest and most exciting music festivals in the world, Glastonbury held its 2014 extravaganza from June 25 to 29 at its usual home at Worthy Farm, Somerset. Despite the unreliable British weather, thousands of revellers partied the week away in their festival best – and Trendstop’s expert trend spotters were there to capture all the street style action as it happened.
In the women’s styles, the wet, muddy terrain meant that wellies were out in full force, teamed with rainbow stripe harem pants or bold print bodysuits. Denim dungarees were layered over vintage pattern shirts, while ethnic jewellery and bindis expressed a Nouveau Hippie vibe.
The New Age vibe also translated in the men’s street stylings, as seen with ethnic prints and Lennon shades, along with spiritual icon tees. Sporty sneakers and outdoorsy boots led the way in footwear, as tough leather bikers revealed sequined surprise layers underneath.
