Following 2013’s successful collaboration, Italian brand MSGM has teamed up with artist’s magazine Toiletpaper on a creative capsule collection for Spring/Summer 2015, joining the visions of creative director Massimo Giorgetti with those of Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari. Set to hit stores and e-tail in December, this unisex range is a broader offering than last year’s, covering everything from sweatshirts to swimwear, shirts to shorts in a striking celebration of fashion and art. Bold colours and pop images are key, as eyes appear out of scrunched-up roses and men’s shoes and legs come crossed with women’s heels and legs. Iconic images taken from the magazine become the new wallpaper, while macro gingham is overprinted with juicy apples and tropical bird wings become patterns with psychedelic shades. Fans of the collaboration might also remember images used in the first collection (Frog, Hamburger, Hands with Lipsticks), which have been applied to one-piece swimsuits for women and nylon boxers for men.
