We’re big fans of oki-ni’s STYLED editorial series, so their latest installation with Fashion Man fashion editor and stylist Julian Ganio didn’t disappoint. Inspired by the concept of capturing an instance in time (such as a computer screen glitch or the accidental art of a corrupted image file), visual reference points came from a 1984 issue of Interview Magazine, creating unique, subtly voyeuristic series of images that each incorporate ‘digital defects.’ Shot by Pani Paul and art directed by Josh Hight, the photographs take key pieces from oki-ni.com’s current Fall/Winter 2013-14 selection – including a slick Coated Replica Duffle Coat by Maison Martin Margiela and Acne’s Vancouver Parka Coat – to get you inspired with some seasonal styling ideas. We particularly like the use of Lanvin’s Metallic Goatskin Low Sneakers and Agi & Sam’s Navy Nylon Wadded Sweatshirt. If you view the editorial on the oki-ni website, you can click each design to buy there and then.
