Nicola Kate Williams

Spotted at the Free Range show earlier this week, Nicola Kate Williams‘ eyewear has got us thinking about summer eyewear, albeit prematurely considering today’s ominous clouds. Nicola, who studied at Middlesex University, explores the boundaries of conventional eyewear her passion extending to the broader subject of adornment and eyewear. Transforming the silhouette of the face, there is also potential to conceal and reveal the face. The leather sunglasses collection promotes a dual functionality, whilst celebrating the possibilities of leather, and are designed to be worn over the eyes, or on the head. Similarly the more decorative rose tinted hair specs are realised with the same purpose in mind, in glossy perspex.

Innovative eyewear is the way forward. Somehow our trusty Ray-Bans just don’t look the same anymore….
