Acne Studios Launches World’s First Digital Art Exhibition System

Swedish fashion house Acne Studios have revealed plans to launch Curater, a digital exhibition network that showcases images of exclusive artwork from internationally renowned artists. The first system of its kind in the world, the ultra-thin LED canvas screen displays 6-8 full exhibition programs throughout the year, each carefully curated by leading art institutes around the world. Initially distributed to a maximum of 500 users, the digital panel will be available to select individuals via invitation, based on a closed subscription system.

Curater founder Johan Holmgren says the device was designed to “let people enjoy the true experience of an art piece… something no computer or smartphone can accomplish today.”
