With wide brimmed headgear, loose shirt and voluminous denim trousers there is a pastoral rusticana at work here. It’s an Amish look, but a manly one, and it recalls a sort of Mid-West chic. But that’s where the vintage farmhand-feel ends. With the block colors, contrast denim and simple minimalism, it is sporty as it is worky and as urban as it is country. At least part of the appeal though, is down to its simple purity and relaxed femininity.
