Emerging Australian artist, Lisa Rodden, is wowing audiences with her unique and stunning hand cut paper art. Pushing the boundaries of one of the oldest and utilitarian materials from everyday life, she creates three dimensional wonders that come to life with light and movement. Fish, flowers and eye popping patterns reveal themselves through a painstaking process of cutting, folding, layering and painting. Shadows and colours appear and disappear as the viewer moves around the work, creating an intriguing feeling of a living piece of art.
The exhibition starts on August 8th and runs until the 21st at Art2Muse Gallery, Sydney, Australia.
